Ribbon Cutting: DeKalb Humane Society

DeKalb Humane Society is cutting the ribbon on their long-awaited new facility! Chamber members are invited to celebrate with staff, board, and special guests of the DeKalb Humane Society at their brand new location. This invitation-only event will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 15, 2022.

The DeKalb Humane Society provides humane care and treatment for animals needing protection in DeKalb County. They seek to return lost animals to their owners, to locate suitable homes for animals without owners, and to educate the public concerning the humane treatment of animals. They are a no-kill shelter with special emphasis on spay and neuter programs that help curtail the increasing animal population. 

Chamber members are invited to attend this special ribbon cutting and grand opening. An open house available to the public will be held at a later date.
